Ngila Dickson

Kostýmy

Ngila sa narodila v meste Dunedin na južnom ostrove Nového Zélandu. V rodnej krajine sa podieľala na návrhoch a práci na kostýmoch pre televízne seriály ako Xena: Warrior Princess a Hercules. No práca pre Petra Jacksona a jeho Pána Prsteňov vo všetkom prevyšovala jej doterajšie skúsenosti. Stvárnenie oblečenia pre deväť rozdielnych rás, znamenalo pre Ngilu a tím 50 krajčírov, vyšívkárov, obuvníkov a šperkárov, nespočetne veľa práce. Počet kostýmov pre jednu rasu prevyšoval 150 a všetky sa museli robiť v dvoch veľkostiach.
